Integrated VIA Graphics Core: The VIA P4M800 comprises the integrated VIA 2D/3D graphics core optimized for key productivity applications as well as digital video playback through a hardware MPEG-2 accelerator, and features DuoView™ functionality for an extended desktop, making it the perfect chipset for corporate desktops and workstations based on the Intel Pentium Processor. In combination with the VIA VT8237R Plus South Bridge, the P4M800 offers a comprehensive range of integrated storage, multimedia and connectivity options, including native Serial ATA and V-RAID, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1 arrays, as well as support for VIA Vinyl Audio, and high-throughput Gigabit Ethernet with the VIA Velocity controller. The P4M800 also features an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 8X controller, and the high speed Ultra V-Link interface for combination with VIA’s feature-packed VT8237R Plus South Bridge. The VIA P4M800 also integrates support for 800MHz FSB and high performance DDR 400 memory modules.
